One of my co-workers Travis Thomsen, a PEER 1 – ServerBeach Developer and founder of Dark Design Pictures, a film making company in San Antonio, Texas just released his newest video series. In August 2008 he began creating a script about something he knows all too well – Web Hosting… and 1-800-Tech-Support was born.
The web series follows the “interesting” life of tech support workers in the web hosting industry. The series is based on a short film called “The Night Shift” that was created for the National 48 Hour Film Challenge.
Travis, from San Carlos, California now residing in San Antonio, Texas began his independent films in 2002. In his career thus far he has won two awards – his second film, “Joined” won best picture for the 2006 Short Ends Winter Film Festival in San Antonio and his third film, “Don’t Go back to Rays” won 2nd place in the local SA48Hr Film Experience. Travis has also worked on 2 independent feature films as a both director of photography.
Yep, the title says it all. Rajan Sodhi, VP of Marketing and Communications for PEER 1 & ServerBeach got written up today for “Thinking Outside the Box“. Can you imagine?! Okay, this really isn’t a bad thing. It’s actually FANTASTIC!
Rajan is an “Everyday Customer Champion“. He spends so much time doing what he does [...]

In my world today it’s hard to take notice of everything that’s taking place around me and I often miss quite a bit news or the little things that someone says or does. My world is fast-paced, always on the move, and there just isn’t enough hours in my days to do everything that I’d [...]
Kevin and I attended a Tweetup this evening in beautiful downtown San Antonio that was hosted by Blellow along with Rackspace and their newest addition, Robert Scoble. The turnout was great and I was able to connect with some of my old co-workers from my Rackspace days as well as make some new friends, which [...]
